he valid zone for the voucher in all sports is 2 miles from the coast with wind no higher than 35 knots. Bring a mobile phone with you on water if you are sailing outside of the rescue zone. Have someone on the beach call us if you are out of sight and you need assistance. Let them know where you are going and how long you plan to stay on water.
RESCUE BOAT SAFETY AND ASSISTANCE !
Once in Meia Praia, you will be able to buy from us a ticket allowing you to have a fix number of rescues, valid for the entire duration of your holidays in Algarve :
- 1 rescue = 25€
- 2 rescues = 40€
- 5 rescues = 60€
In case of emergency, one of the boat will assist you and bring you back to the shore if necessary, with no additional cost.
It is of course allowed to kite at this spot without purchasing a rescue ticket, but the rescue boat company will charge you up to 75€, if they need to assist you.
