Our headquarters is located in Meia Praia next to the hotels, in a quiet area with several restaurants just 10 to 15 minutes walk from the center of Lagos. The beach is a paradise of calm, crystal-clear waters surrounded by low sand dunes and an extensive stretch of sand of approximately 5 km that extends to Lagoa de Alvor.

Our kite center is located at Lagoa de Alvor in Vale da Lama, a natural reserve with excellent conditions for kitesurfing, located at the end of the road near the small lagoon, about 5 km from the center of Lagos.

It is possible  to do kitesurfing, wingfoil and windsurfing year-round, although the best conditions are typically found between April and October. The thermal northwest wind is strongest between June and August, reaching speeds between 15 and 30 knots in the afternoon, making this a prime destination for practitioners of all disciplines looking for consistent and reliable wind.

Meia Praia is a magnificent spot with offshore wind from the afternoon onwards you can sail along the beach for a length of around 5 km in a flat water plane with several wind zones, this spot offers excellent conditions for practicing all sports.

Alvor Lagoon is located just a few minutes from our headquarters and is protected from the ocean by fixed dunes, with excellent wind conditions, depending on the tide here you can learn and practice practicing all disciplines in flat water and safe way.

The west coast (Costa Vicentina) located approximately 25 km from our center is an ideal place to practice or learn surfing or surfing. The waves are constant and a place where preserved nature has a strong and wild character.

Kitesurf equipment rentals are only carried out in Lagoa de Alvor for safety reasons, our team will provide the necessary support to all practitioners, transfers to an islet located in the middle of the lagoon, briefing on the spot, launch and land kite and surveillance and rescue. (note that only one rescue will be made per rental if the customer has difficulty kitesurfing, the rental will be converted into a lesson if available).

Wingfoil and windsurfing rentals are available in Meia Praia or Lagoa de Alvor depending on your level or preference, due to the height of the tide we are sometimes unable to rent equipment in Lagoa de Alvor at intermediate and advanced levels.

Surf or sup rentals can be made in Meia Praia on days without wind, normally there is swell from the southeast for 3 or 4 days, if you want to practice every day the west coast (Costa Vicentina) has magnificent beaches, always with waves for all levels Here you will certainly find a spot with waves to your liking.

Kitesurfing lessons are done in the Alvor lagoon, typically offers perfectly flat conditions, thanks to the presence of sandbars  provides good conditions with any wind direction and is particularly favorable for beginners around mid-tide. Most of the lagoon features waist-deep water. Advanced levels, including foil kitesurfing, are only done at high tide with the support of a boat so that we can use as much space in the lagoon as possible.

Normally, beginner wingfoil or windsurfing classes are done in the small lagoon of Alvor, which will give you a great sense of security to learn your favorite sport, intermediate and advanced level classes, including foil windsurfing, are held in Meia Praia, always with support. of a boat due to offshore wind.

Surf or sup classes on the waves can be taken in Meia Praia with southeast swell (normally open 3 or 4 days of each month) or on the west coast (Costa Vicentina) with waves for all levels here you can learn the sport or improve your skills in a short space of time.
