Our accommodation is located in Meia Praia, close to our center, facing the sea. You only need to walk a few meters to get to the beach. The location is perfect. You don’t need a car to get to Lagos, where you can stroll through the historic part of the city, visit the marina and enjoy this wonderful place.

In our surf camp the concept is different from the others, we want to get to know our gastronomy and customs to experience the Algarve in a more genuine way. Our meals are prepared by the best local chefs with the freshest products of the region, discover the best that the Algarve has to offer.
The Algarve breakfast uses toasted bread cut into three strips and spread with salted butter, the sandwich or croissant mixed with ham and cheese is also very common accompanied by a gallon (coffee with milk) or an orange juice, to finish off a coffee espresso and pastel de nata or rice cake that will give you the energy and calories needed for the day’s sporting activity.
Portugal is known for its magnificent gastronomy. For 7 days we have themed dinners almost all based on the traditional gastronomy of the Algarve with fresh fish and seafood or a traditional BBQ of grilled meats, always accompanied by a good sangria without forgetting the delicious typical Algarve sweets.
Our Beach House is in the perfect location, right on the seafront. You only need to walk a few meters to get to the beach. The rooms are simple and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The living room is spacious and comfortable, and all guests have access to the kitchen.
You can also enjoy our large backyard with areas protected from the wind and sun, or enjoy a terrace with a fabulous view of the sea.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No prior experience needed. The beginner kite camp is designed for complete beginners — you start with kite control on the beach, progress to body dragging, and work toward water starts and riding. IKO and VDWS certified instructors guide every step. Maximum 4 students on group lessons and 2 on semi private lessons.
Most beginners can learn the fundamentals in 5 days. Days 1 kite control. Day 2 body drag. Day 3 focus on board, water starts, and riding. By day 4-5, most students have water starts and some riding.
Most lessons at Ria de Alvor lagoon — a flat-water spot 10 minutes from our station with a sandy bottom. Intermediate and advanced levels are at Meia Praia beach (5 min from camp) for deep water sessions with boat support and radio communication.
June, July, and August — when the Nortada thermal wind blows consistently. In peak season, expect 6-7 wind days per week. April, September, and October have a mix of Nortada, Southeast, and Southwest, consistent on shore and side shore winds.
You switch sports. Wind Sports Center is a multi-sport company – on any no-wind day, you can Surf, bodyboard, skimboard, stand up paddle or kayak tours, windsurfing and wingfoiling for beginners. Wind forecasts found online are not always accurate, the team communicates forecasts the evening before, based on local experience.
The Intermediate package. Five semi-private sessions with your own kite, so you’re riding and improving the entire lesson. Our instructors teach everything from upwind riding to transitions, jumps, and even strapless riding. Every session is tailored to where you are right now. Radios keep you connected to the instructor on the water, so corrections happen in real time.
Everything: kite, board, harness, helmet, wetsuit, neoprene boats and impact vest. Wind Sports Center refreshes equipment regularly. if you want to buy your own equipment are available for purchase in our shop. All guests also receive 10% discount on gear in the shop.
The VDWS (Verband Deutscher Wassersport Schulen) license is an internationally recognized kitesurfing certification included in all kite camp packages. You take a test and receive a card certifying your level — this lets you rent equipment at kite schools worldwide.
Group: max 4 students, 2 per kite, 3 hours. Semi-private: 2.5 hours with your own kite — no sharing. Zero to Hero combines both: 2 group for foundations, 3 semi-private once you have control.
Faro Airport is about 70 km away — roughly 1 hour by car. We offer airport transfers for €80 per booking (split between passengers). Buses and car rentals also available.
