Rental Terms

1) Must have IKO LEVEL 3K to rent kitesurfing equipment at the Wind sports Center (about levels). We reserve the right to carry out a rental check and deny rental if you do not have the required level.

2) You must be in good physical condition and have no medical condition that may interfere with the practice of kiteboarding activities. You are not pregnant. You have no mental impairment that may affect your judgment of danger and information given during the practice of kiteboarding activities. You are an open water swimmer. You are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs and you will not be during any of the kiteboarding activities.

3) You must operate the rented kiteboarding equipment in a reasonable and safe manner so as not to endanger the lives of persons or property of any individual. In case you cause an accident you have and will claim the full responsibility. In case we notice improper riding behavior from your side, we reserve the right to terminate your rental  without refund and not rent to you again.  You will use the provided helmet and impact vest for your safety. You confirm you are aware of all the safeties of the equipment (quick release/disconnect) and will activate them in case of need.

You know and understand the worldwide kiteboarding rules ‘RIGHT OF WAY’ and will respect and follow them. Also you know how to self rescue and body drag upwind.

4) The equipment must be returned to Wind Sports Center in the same condition as you received it. In case you lose any part of the rented equipment, you will pay it’s price to Wind Sports Center. In case you break or damage any part of the rented equipment you will pay the cost of the repair. Insurance for the equipment is not included. You will get charged for any loss or damage caused to the equipment you rent. In case of loss you get charged 30% less of the official retail price of the product. In case of damaged equipment you will get charged the repair fee depending on the damage. Minimum repair fee is 60€ while serious damages can cost 80-500€. In case you damage gear of this season (almost new) you will have to buy the damaged equipment (discounted 30% from retail). In case of damaging foil equipment repair fee depends on the severity of the damage. Serious damage can cost up to 1500€ (mainly when repair is not applicable and many parts are severely damaged). You are responsible for any damage done to the equipment while renting it. If someone else caused a damage to your rental equipment its your responsibility to sort out the repair or the sale of the gear. In case you cause any damage to the equipment we reserve the right to stop your session and not rent to you again.

5) The rental service starts when you receive the equipment and ends when you return the equipment. If weather changes during the rental time different kite sizes will be provided without additional charge. Additional fees will apply to the customer who exceeds the agreed rental time.  The minimal time for renting is 1 hour. If a customer decides to end the session earlier than planned, he/she will be not refunded the unused time.

6) When the weather conditions are not suitable (extreme wind and waves that make  impossible for rescue boats to enter the sea)  we reserve the right not to rent or to terminate your session. In this case you will be partially refunded.

7) We rent equipment for other spots, you will be responsible for the equipment and its safety, we do not equipment insurance in these cases.

8) When you book a rental service from Wind Sports Center you understand and agree with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of use as well
